Andrew Ong, Attorney, Raja & Tann, Singapore

Andrew CL Ong has been in private practice for the past 31 years and is a consultant with the Singapore-based regional law firm, Raja & Tann.  He has many years of experience in commercial and business law, having specialized in regulatory telecommunications, media law and competition.  He is cited as a leading lawyer for IT & telecoms in Asia Pacific Legal 500, as one of the top 100 telecoms lawyers globally, as a leading Communications practitioner in Singapore by Global Counsel 3000, and selected by Who's Who Legal as one of the world's leading reulatory and communicaitons lawyers.

Today, Andrew involves himself in dealing with cases that have a multi-regulator dimension or coordinating projects that have cross-border regulatory features.  He advises on government relations and strategic planning at a regional level.

Andrew earn his LLB (hons) from the London School of Economics; is a non-practicing Barrister-at-law (Lincoln's Inn), England and Wales; and an Advocate and Solicitor before the Supreme Court of Singapore.  He is editor and co-author of Your Guide to E-Commerce Law in Singapore and the Singapore chapter of the international edition of Getting the Deal Through - Telecoms 2001-2007.  Andrew sits on the board of advisory editors for The Indian Journal of Law and Technology
