The Pepperdine Law School Partnership with Uganda

A true story of an African boy, an American lawyer, and their long road to justice narrated by Angela Bassett.

Have you ever seen the documentary film Remand?

If you haven’t, you should. You will know why after you hear Jim Gash.

Jim Gash, then a law professor at Pepperdine Law School, and soon to be president of the University, discovered the power of his profession to help others overseas. He formed a partnership with judicial officials in Uganda to help them to transform their juvenile and adult criminal justice systems.

At our FLAG 2019, Jim gave his powerful testimony about this experience and the impact it had on him personally. Hear his challenge to become involved in God’s work through using your legal skills.
